The Samsung Sero TV display stand was designed to differentiate itself from the other Samsung stands to relate to the Sero TVs unique features.

The Sero TV was aimed at the social media market with easy connection to phones, and a rotating screen to match a phones aspect ratio when connected.

The display stand was distributed across the country to highlight the Sero TV in retail stores nationwide.

The D22 team took the unique functionality of the TV into account with the design using a vertical blue back panel to contrast the wider base.

The vertical blue back panel related the stand to the TVs vertical orientation and ensure that the TV ‘stood out’ in stores.

The stand was built entirely out of MDF and fully machine cut to ensure consistency and build quality across all stands built.

The D22 production team sprayed the back panels with high quality paints, and the bases were wrapped with a wood look vinyl wrap. The effect gave an abstract illusion of flooring and wall within a house.

The consistency in the dimensions of the stands was important to allow the screen in either orientation to remain within the boundaries of the stand without blocking the view of branding or pricing.

The Sero TV stand required critical thought in the design and contextual application.

Collaborating with Samsung, the D22 team thoughtfully built and designed the stand with the end-use in mind.

With the TV being dynamic in orientation the stand had to function for brand presence and sales effectively regardless of the orientation.
