Sense Group approached D22 to create a stage and stage backdrop to frame their conference.

At D22 we offer solutions throughout the production process to meet client’s budgets, this is facilitated by our collaboration with clients to act as an extension of their company and their brand.

The backdrop was geometrically designed and included varied depths with elements of the backdrop “popping out” towards the audience.

EXPERTISE

CUSTOM DESIGN, BUILD, EXHIBITION

The D22 team discussed how to make the build cost efficient for the client while maintaining a high end, exciting and visually appealing look.

Costs were reduced by supplementing the steel framing of the backdrop with a timber framed coated in high gloss paints to hide the wood and give the illusion of a steel framed wall.

Steel mesh was used in different sections and shapes to help with the illusion of a steel build and keep the backdrop visually exciting and unique.

The emphasis on a three-dimensional stage challenged our team to creatively solve problems through lighting material selection and design.

Lighting was used both on the geometric structure and on the white back wall to force the perspective of depth in the build.

The challenge of the build and installation of this wall excited the production and design team as it allowed us to challenge ourselves and each other to constantly.

OUTSIDE THE BOX

To achieve the geometric design, our skilled team of designers and carpenters collaborated to produce the unique bespoke build.

Requiring innovative design and collaboration we were able to help Sense Group put on an exciting event all framed by an one of a kind bespoke build.
